Matt Redman wins ASCAP Award for "Our God"
WORSHIP singer/songwriter Matt Redman was among the winners attending
the 31st annual ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors and
Publishers) Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Matt
received the prestigious award for the song "Our God", judged to be
one of most impacting songs at American radio in 2010 by a British
writer. The song, co-written with Jonas Myrin, Chris Tomlin and Jesse
Reeves. Among others celebrated during the evening were U2 for "I
Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", Paul McCartney for "Come
Together" and Coldplay for "Viva La Vida".
